Freek se Huis

Freek se Huis is a beautifully restored vintage cottage that once served as a home for Freek Berghaan Blaauw, a beloved figure and hero of Bucklands. Freek and his wife Eva raised their nine children here, all of whom are now well-respected members of their communities.
Located close to the farmstead and within walking distance of the Rondedak Barn—which features a relaxation area and splash pool—Freek se Huis offers comfortable accommodation for up to six people in three rooms. The house is fully equipped with Eskom power and a kitchen, perfect for preparing meals during your stay. The spacious veranda provides the ideal spot to relax with family and friends, whether enjoying long evenings together or sipping early morning coffee while watching the sun rise through the branches of the pepper tree, casting beautiful light and shadows across the surroundings.
Freek se Huis is an excellent choice for guests attending events at Bucklands Guest Farm, or as a peaceful base from which to explore the farm and its surroundings.
