One of the highlights is the walk from the vintage cottages to the old hand-stacked stone walls, which are located close to Ouwerwe. These historic walls, built by early settlers, offer a fascinating glimpse into the region’s past and provide a scenic backdrop for a relaxing walk.

Another popular route is the walk from the cottages to Vate se Gat, located about 5 km from the farmstead. This route takes you through diverse landscapes, offering stunning views and the opportunity to experience the peaceful surroundings of Bucklands. Whether exploring the stone walls or heading out to Vate se Gat, these short walks provide a perfect way to connect with the natural beauty and history of the area.
